                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 3715
                   MODERN INDUSTRIES BOULEVARD, BEING ON THE
                   SOUTHEAST AND NORTHEAST LINE OF MODERN
                   INDUSTRIES BOULEVARD SOUTHEAST OF BIRMINGHAM
                   HIGHWAY, FROM M-2 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE TO C-1
                   HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 3715 Modern Industries
                Boulevard, being on the southeast and northeast
                line of Modern Industries Boulevard southeast of
                Birmingham Highway.  Lot 2, Lookout Valley
                Industrial Park, as shown by plat of record in plat
                book 50, page 308, ROHC; being the property
                described in deed book 4291, page 504, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 154-9.2 (part) and 9.30.
               
               
         from M-2 Light Industrial Zone to C-1 Highway Commercial Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
